Sweet November
Sweet November:
Keanu Reeves latest film, a romance/drama, that has just been released in theaters. I just saw the movie
earlier, and i really enjoyed it. It's one of those get into the momment movies if you know what i'm talking about.
At a few scenes i almost broke into tears. Just trying to hold it in... eah.. eahh.
A very large majority of my friends have already taken a disliking to this film even though they haven't even seen it yet.
Especially my friend Pojz, and she loves Keanu. But... i guess she doesn't like him as much as I do. Why can't she appreciate
such a emotional movie like this? : P

Keanu's Broken Ankle (updated)
It's going around that Keanu Reeves broke his ankle during his trainning for the
Matrix sequels. There are pictures and news of this going all over the internet.
You may have even seen him on TV with the small cast on his foot.
Keanu, your so fragile, hehe.
I'm uncertain of what the condition of his ankle is right now. I also don't know if there
still continuing to train him meanwhile. But we all know that this is not that big of a deal, right?
Well, let's hope that this will not really hurt the continuation of the upcoming sequels to The Matrix.
Get well Keanu!
Sequel Updates:
Keanu Reeves has signed to do two, count'em two, sequels to the special effects epic
"The Matrix". It was said that he was receiving $20 million for each movie, but just earlier i heard that he is now going to receive either i think 10% or 30% on whatever is made from both films.
The producers promised to hire his band Dogstar for the soundtrack. Laurence Fishburne and
Carrie-Anne Moss will also be continuing to star in the sequels. Shooting on the sequels starts soon in Australia, and the second film will be released winter 2002.
-15/12/00: Keanu and the cast are currently undergoing martial arts trainning for the sequels.
-18/02/01: Matrix sequels production slowed down by cast injuries.
Keanu stars in The Gift (updated)
Keanu Reeves latest film called The Gift
co-starring Hilary Swank, Greg Kinnear, Katie Holmes, and Cate Blanchett, is now playing in theaters.
I have already seen it, and enjoyed it. I noticed on my old write up on the film before i saw was almost a
total mistake. I had the plot wrong, and i had mistaken this actor for someone else, opps :)
Well, here's my new updated version. If you want to know a little "bit" about Keanu Reeves character. He plays a red
necked asshole dude named "Danny". Danny likes to beat his wife and other ladies... thats what, meanwhile he gets caught up
in this you could say supernatural thing. Nufff said buddy.
Keanu-Interview about his talent
Keanu's role as a goofy teenager in Bill &
Ted's Excellent Adventure was what propelled him
into the big time, a role that, by his own account,
he was born to play. "I'm a meathead," he once
said. "I can't help it, man. You've got smart people
and you've got dumb people."
Self deprecation aside, Reeves transcended his Bill
& Ted image when he showed up to good effect in
such films as Point Break and My Own Private
Idaho before jumping to superstar status when he
jumped on the bus with Sandra Bullock in Speed.
Often appearing rather wooden on screen, his star
status is something that must be rather bemusing
to his fellow actors such as Charlie Sheen who
once said of Reeves: "How does Francis Ford
Coppola, one of the greatest filmmakers of our
time, see Keanu Reeves's work, see what we've all
seen, and say, "That's what I want in my movie"?
How does Bertolucci see that and say, "That's my
guy?" Emilio and I sit around and just scratch our
heads, thinking, "How did this guy get in?"
But Reeves himself is pretty humble about his own
role in the Hollywood hierarchy, a role he often
lets slide in favour of playing bass with his rock
band, DogStar. "I'm not considered like, you know,
actors like Brad Pitt, or, let's say, Tom Cruise,"
Reeves says. "I don't have that kind of draw. You
know, I'm just trying to be a working actor. Some
people like what I do, some don't. There's not
really much I can do about it. I'm trying, you
know? I'm not the best actor in the world; I know
that. But I'm trying. That doesn't mean anything, I
guess -- just to try."
